I don’t do vanity searches because it’s irrelevant. I just need to know if the search phrases important to me are performing well. So I checked out my SEO results (http://www.webveteran.com/about/seo.cfm) like I do every week, and found that someone searched google for me by name. Which is kinda odd. When I found out and confronted him on it, he changed the look and feel but if you read the copy on this site, it is still pretty much the same as mine. My 10-years-ago art director said "good artists copy, great artists steal". I guess it holds true for web designers. As long as I come up in search engines for my search phrases and his site does not, I don't really care all that much. Should I? It's fun to point and laugh.
